July 4th is around the corner and that means lots of events to shop for! Summer for me is all about pretty and fun dresses – I love bright colors and bold prints!

This Rhodes dress is one of their classic pieces, they remake it every season in different patterns & colors. I love this yellow heart print, it’s fun but not too wild. Yellow is one of my favorite colors, it goes with more than one would probably think. This time, I kept my look clean and paired it with white and silver, but what I love about yellow is that it can work with so many other colors. Next time, I’d totally change the look and pair this dress with: green, pink, purpleor maybe even orange… something a little bit more fun! Below are some more colorful shoes and clutch options.

This dress is also great because you can dress it down or up – like I did. For a more casual look, sneakers, flats, or flat sandals with a leather handbag/clutch will look great.
