Put A Bow On It…

This is one of my favorite outfits this season, it’s fun, classy and edgy. Although there’s a lot going on, everything is tied together which is important when pairing so many pieces together.
I saw this coat at Zara when it first came out and grabbed it. Coats are obviously another one of my obsessions, especially when there’s shearling. Although I love edgy pieces, like this aviator coat, when it comes to my purchases I don’t like to buy too many items that are “on trend.” However, I like to have some trendy pieces to give my classic outfits some edge.
My top and skirt are both more classic items, ruffles are definitely also “on trend” right now but a little on the shoulder won’t ever really go out of style. I always say that I’m super picky when it comes to my tights, I don’t like to go too crazy yet I don’t like to go with boring black, you’ll most likely never see me wearing black tights, although I probably shouldn’t say never. Rockstud booties are the best way to add edge to any outfit, yet it still keeps it classy. These boots pair well with my coat, sunglasses and bag which is what tied my whole outfit together. It’s always important your accessories work well together.
My gold starburst jewelry is fun, classy but most important, not overpowering. When choosing my jewelry for this outfit it was crucial to not have pieces that were too busy or big because of my hair clip. This clip is one of my favorite items I found this fall/winter, I love how front on my hair looks like a simple, half up hairdo, yet when you see it from behind it’s just wow.
When choosing busy outfits, make sure the colors and hardware of your accessories are the same, this gives you the ability to be a little busier with your other pieces.
